What I have done Today, 11th May Friday...

    Visit To High Court
Woke up at 815am, been a long time since i woke up that early and start the day (Waking up at 9am to pass Nian Long his Notes and going back to sleep does not count). Signed up for the High Court visit@ 10am. Meet up 915am @ Global Lounge, a school bus took us to admiralty. The high court is just opposite admiralty MTR(Lippo Centre).

Stepped into the building, did not feel that you are in a court, almost just another commercial building. It is 14 storeys high. We went to Court 18 on the 8th floor, so the first court probably started from the 3rd floor and all the way up till the 14th floor. I always thought of going to a court with old victorian architecture and steps on the facade, but this seems so modern.

Well, anyway, we went into court 18 and took our seats. We were awaiting the trial of this former policemen who "resisted arrest using firearms.." which was a continuation from yesterday. There were 3 witnesses for the time we were there(we left during break because we didnt think there will be a verdict today). They were Policemen and speak cantonese. The judge was an ang moh, 1 translator, 2 lawyers, a jury and the accused and some other people who facilitated the trial by bringing evidence, bringing witnesses etc. The toughest job i thought was the translator, everything that was said, english or cantonese, needs to be translated. But i looked at the accused sitting behind the panel and thought to myself, "why go through all the trouble? See his face also know he is guilty liao".

I think those who haven hear a court case before, should go see see. We were fortunate to have HKU organised such a visit for us. I must say it was quite an experienced, Li ying please let me noe if theres any conclusion on the case in the papers XD

    H&M Shopping
We left the group at 12pm, they went back school we went for lunch at Macdonalds. It has Been ages since i have eaten anything from M. After lunch, Li ying wanted to do some shopping at H&M. Went down and bought a bag. Haven really done any shopping for myself so it was quite rewarding today for me. After that, went to have dessert at "Man Ji Tian Ping". I ordered this "Perrier Lychee Iced Drink" for HKD$27, quite ex i must say, probably due to the perrier. Well, it was ok only, the perrier is really very gassy. And i always thought that perrier is like Mineral water just, more expensive...

    Going Back..
It was 4pm already so we decided to head back, quite tired oso le... took mini bus back, Li ying helped me to say "sai zup yao lor". Must thank her today for waking her lazy ass up to company me =X But im sure with not much days left, any exploring is worth it!

Returning the Credit Card i found
Yes, decided to return the lost Credit Card to the Bank(BEA) which has a branch in HKU. Yes, decided to forgo all the infinite possibilities i could do with the credit card, such as using it as a coaster......XD

Well, i wasnt sure how i should return it "properly" so i just handed the card to one of the staff in uniform. She asked her superior and was apparently told to ask me to queue up in line. At that moment i was like "WTF!?". ANYWAY, i was next in line so as a law abiding citizen/tourist/exchange student i waited for my turn. I spoke in english with the counter guy and he could not understand me for like 2 mins. He asked if i wanted to cancel my credit card and stuff when i already told him that it was a lost card i had found. Only on the third try did he understand me and check the paritculars of the card owner. He came back and thank me for returning it and they will contact the owner and that was that..... what? Wheres my $1mil dollars reward? My fame and glory? The eternal indebtness?

You must be kidding, at the end of the day, whats most important is that i got a "happy feeling".............. Yeah right.

Went back hall took a quick shower and napped, oh my god i tell u the nap was so good despite the announcements to go for a hall event at 6pm which does not involve exchange students and floormates talking outside, was real tired from waking up so early in a long time.

    Dinner Time
Woke up, 630pm, went for dinner with some of my floormates at some cha chan ting at Bonham road. Quite ex, had baked seafood fried rice and a lemon tea for HKD$37. There was even this coackroach running around under our table. Well, anything for going out, not much time left, must treasure!!

Ok, i just felt like i have written an essay. Will have "Pig cutting" later at 1030pm, the local tradition to wish everyone well all the best for their exams. Would probably have another post on that... Till then, 25 days more!!! It is still a love hate countdown for me..
