Actually wanted to integrate the counting down into my skin, but i liked the pic bb did and so, this is it. Its only a few more days till i see them again, and every day, it grows...
Theres meaning behind the skin one hor.. haa

Shen Zhen ' 07!

Took a trip down, i mean up to Shen Zhen today along with myself Jc, my comrades Jessica, Joy, Justin and his SMU friend called Aloysious. Didnt brought my camera along, too paranoid about the pickpocketers in China. Took train from HK and reach SZ in about 1 1/2 hours? Quin was so wrong when she said 3 hrs XD.

Met Joy's uncle who was staying there. He was so hospitable and treated the 5 of us to a FEAST, yes a FEAST in a private room of a local chinese restaurant. The room had its personal space, personal TV, personal chatting corner, personal KTV and personality. Why i call it a FEAST? Coz theres really alot of food the uncle had ordered for us. Easily the most variety of food for an ala carte meal i had since coming to Hong Kong. It was even better because the food is really damn good! We had prawns, fish, small crabs, soup, 2 kinds of clams, vegetables, chicken and somemore i cant remember. And all of them really had standard, afterall its a restaurant not some road side cha cham ting.

The BEST thing was that the cost is really DAMN DIRT CHEAP. The standard and portion of the fish alone in Singapore would cost around SGD$20-$30(or more?) depending on where u eat ur fish. But believe it ornot(i sound like ripley), the whole meal costs only RMB$281, around SGD$50+ I had some of the same stuff in Lamma Island but that cost me an aeroplane, 300% more than compared to ShenZhen which has much more variety! really, if u havent been to these cheap restaurants, u really havent been to China, or Shenzhen in this case.

After cheap food, we went for cheap clothings and stuff. Really damn cheap. When u bargain, u start from 30% of the original price that is offered. They cut prices like nobodys business when u start showing disinterest or when u walk away. Well, i bought a bag and 3 shirts, only the bag for myself.

Oh and about the Cheap people. Self explanatory, we are in China afterall, though its at the border. The traffic is a mess, the cars, the pedestrians, the beggers... everything is messed up. Oh, and its damn hot there in the day, frigging hot!

For dinner, its another round, or rounds of buffet steamboat. We went abit earlier so its more expensive, SGD$4. If it was after 9pm, its SGD$2+
But yea, saw cheap people there who took the tongs to their own table for their own use.

Left around 9+ 10pm... so tired ahh... but its quite a trip =]

Champion Tee Design Award Presentation

Earlier in the morning happen to see the poster and the time of the event. There were celebrities coming! Went down to check it out since its just below my hall.

When i reached there, they were already doing the catwalking, soon after a short dance segment came. Then saw this guy in the middle making funny faces, i thought to myself, "Huh??"

So after the dance segment, some of the dancers went back stage and a Male MC came up. That dancer in the middle stayed on and a mic was passed to him. Only then did i notice that hes actually a celebrity. His name? Bosco Wong. Everything was in cantonese so i dun really noe what they are toking about, until the time when it was to present the prizes to the winners!

1st - $3000hkd
2nd - $2000hkd
3rd - $1000hkd

I didnt win, i die die wan to put my face inside my design and i submitted like on the last minute. They didn't show their winning pieces!!! I really want to know because up till now i still dunno what exactly they want for the theme! So just hantam one design with my face inside and try my luck hahaha!

So after the event, celebrities(yes theres more but i didnt feel anything much, probably coz i do not know them) stay on for photo takings with the press. After that, a short while with their fans. Guess Bosco was the main attraction since his the only one with supporting fans asking his for pics and autographs.

Went back hall soon after and show my floormates who are locals the pics i took. They didnt recognise Bosco at first. Later on when they found out who he was, they just said that hes a small fry! Not very famous haha!! lol



All in all it was quite a fresh experience for me. The above video clip was captured when Bosco came down from stage to my area where i happened to be taking pictures and his fans all gathered. I was like caught in the middle so might as well take this opportunity take a video. Its a first for me to be an "Accidental Fan" here. But the most interesting i saw was, this guy, took his notes or some readings and handed it to Bosco for his autograph. After which, he and his guy friends were laughing at it! OH! Sorry if any of u liked this guy, i just realied i was that close in getting his autograph too, but i didnt! Nvm la, next time can go Moscow find Bosco lo!

Went down to our Surveying Studio today to finish the powerpoint for our law presentation this Friday (still have a report which im doing now). When i stepped into the Studio, it was in a mess! They were actually having an event inside! Student were writing caligrapgy on red pieces of paper.

Later on then did i found out that the student were wishing one another all the best for their exams by giving each other the red pieces of paper. How did i know? Coz i got one too!





It reads, "JC geng guo" in cantonese. In mandarin its "JC jing guo" which means to pass. Pass wat? Apparently its to pass over GPA 3 (their maximum is 4). And if ur GPA is 3 or above, its known as a Superpass, quite cool rite? Sounds so much better than what Dean's list, what stupid elitist country would have such elitist terms for eliti.... wait, ok nvm getting Off Topic.

Yup thanks to Olivia! I think Li ying got one from her too. Didnt write any coz i was engrossed law. So i didnt write any law. Later during dinner, Olivia saw me and asked me about my law presentation. I told her that we finished the slides already, just left with the law report law. Their group so good, present next week, my group has to present this friday!!!!

Guess what?

Im still sick! At least not very serious, but it'll probably affect my mood. I think i should stop eating panadol, since its the throat that is giving me problems now. "Jing Du Nian Ci An Chuan Bei Pi Pa Gao" to the rescue!!

Guess what again? Some of my floormates are sick too! Apparently the power of martheen is stronger than friday the thirtheen!! 1st floor needs more "Jing Du Nian Ci An Chuan Bei Pi Pa Gao"ssss!
