Taiwan Trip (15th - 18th March 2007) :

While the others went to Shanghai, we went to Taiwan!

6 of us: me, Elaine, Euquin, Gerald, Jocelyn and Katie!

Day 1

Took a bus(A10) to Hong Kong International Airport. Going to a foreign place from a foreign place feels so different...

Time Elapsed: approx 2 hrs - We have reached Taiwan!! Going through Immigration now

Our Tour agency got us a bus which goes to Ximen Ding, where out hotel is.






Had a stop halfway there. The temporary tour guide explain with such innocence that she wont force us to buy anything there. The shop sells pastries and bread. Pineapple cake was the famous delicacy there. Katie and Euquin ordered 1 for themself.

Room 512, mine and gerald's room. The room is quite spacious for an externally run down hotel. The hotel is called Fu(4) Zhuang(1) Hotel. It looks 2 stars from outside but 3 stars from inside



On the way to hunt for lunch, we saw this destroyed building... no idea what happened here

Finally! No more Shao La or Pork Chop Rice!! This is Cod Fish with Broken Soy Beans, very NICE!
After dinner, we went to walk around Ximen Ding, look see look see...
