First breakfast in Taiwan. I had peanut butter toast and a cup of dou jiang..
They had big head for toast(photos) early in the morning..
They needed helpers so the cartoon came to life
After breakfast, planned to head down to Jiu fen. Took a train first to kunyang..
Changed a bus later on to Jiu fen. The bus ride really quite jiu.. almost 1 hour?
1 of the shots i took inside the bus
When we finally reach Jiu fen, we were greeted with the aroma of coffee from starbucks! They were giving free coffee!! Guess what? We didnt take any!!
Apparently these 3 ladies had a hell of a smacking good time with the free coffee...
And if u haven noticed, the view from inside and outside is really nice
I like this picture coz u can only see nice things =)
We continued to proceed further in and gerald and i found this magic shop. We went in and there was this old man showing tricks to us. He is selling his magic tricks. A pack of 15 tricks for NT$300. I shared with Gerald so thats SGD$7.50 each. He really performed well and we were really bought over by him. Euquin thought otherwise though...
This guys is actually FAMOUS! Which makes the purchase more valuable. BUT! When we went back to our hotel and see how it was done, i was SO NOT IMPRESSED =_=
The vehicles here have the right of way... WTF!?
And then it began to rain...
... gigantic fishballs
After some shopping, decided that it was time for lunch and also to seek some shelter
The view here was awesome but joy had other thoughts...
Could understand her as the wind here was damn strong and it was so cold! But i LIKE IT!
I had Gong Bao Ji Ding Fan. Though different from Singapore's, i thought it tasted alright. The feeling of spicyness and coldness at the same time was really SHIOK! But the vegetable tasted like SHIT. Like chou dou fu!
What The Fog!?
After a coooold day in Jiu Fen, went to their SOGO. How nostalgic...
Realise i couldnt take any photos as the elevator attendants were really interesting, so i had to make do with some zi pai shots..
Went back to our hotel to rest for awhile before heading out again. We had plans to meet Euquin's Taiwanese frens to be our guides in Shilin Night Market! Too hungry, bought some corn first..
Will continue with Part 2 Soon!! (Too many photos le)
