Day 2 and Beyond

Starbucks!! Located in the Campus's Happy Garden, the main place where all events take place. 30% discount for students! Quite cheap...

Planned to go to Wang Jiao in the evening. To our surprise, met a few Singaporean students from different Universities who are in HK for a conference. We were trying to take a photo of our school's East gate when we heard one of their photographers saying "but they also taking picture LEH". That was the icebreaker lol.

Before reaching Wang Jiao, Sijie suggested we go to Yew Ma Tee first to look see. Tried one of the eateries here, quite standard dishes they serve i noticed.

After dinner, went to their "pasar malams" for some browsing. Almost anything can be find here at incredible prices! Yes, even dildos! I believe we have treaded into "Nu Ren Jie", Ladies' Street. Almost every 2 or 3 stalls later will be one shop selling sex toys. Didnt take pictures though for the obvious reasons =P

Quite crampy roads, everywhere is as crampy or crampier. I guess land is more scarce in HK than it is in SG..

Made our way to Yew Ma Tee MTR to buy our Octopus card, the ONLY thing you need in HK. It pays everything, transport, groceries, meals etc. Spotted this device that helps wheelchair bound persons to have access into the MTR stations. Singapore wins with their MRT lifts.

After getting our Octo card, made our way on foot to Wang Jiao. If Wang Jiao is Orchard Road, Yew Ma Tee is Somerset. Yeap, crowded and crampy, the air pollution becomes more distinct and significant. But sights are vibrant, something to expect from city lilfe.

360 Console Kiosk! By the road side, looks abit dirty though...

Mahjong anyone?

Mcposter. Somehow i like this poster, and i love their Uniform, very trendy. Also their crew are all young people. I haven seen any elderly or the disabled working in their fastfood restaurants.

They "surprised" me with cake they bought earlier ago. Actually they had a failed attempt once cause we couldn't find a place that we could sit and eat the cakes. Well, to me its the thought that counts and i thank everyone whos involved in it =) Love you all!!

Last pic before i conclude today's post:
"Something tells me this is not authentic..."
Thats all for the first few days of HK life before the start of my school semester. Will update you guys with pics of my hall and happenings during school life! Stay tuned!
